at rest-harrow farm

This 7 part poem is a meditation into journal poem written whilst at Rest-Harrow, a working farm and campsite in Cornwall. PartI describes my impressions of the penalty shootout that ended the 2026 Champions League Final watched on an iPad in the camper van. Part II is the relief of no longer being attached to outcomes once the febrile energy of the shootout was over. Part III concerns an argument over morning coffee and IV is a door that opens into the sky, and creaks on Tales From The Crypt hinges. The only thing to say about V is that I have a fear of ice-cream vans. Ordinarily, I can't distinguish their music from ambulances or fire-engines. VI is a wrestle with projection and VII is the cover photo.
